DXTINY, whose debut EP 'Sweet Sins' is out now, featuring Blaqbonez, Shoday and 255. The project marks a significant early statement from the rising Nigerian artist.
DXTINY has made his move. The rising Nigerian artist dropped his debut EP 'Sweet Sins' and the feature list alone signals that this is not an artist thinking small.
The project brings together Blaqbonez, Shoday and 255 across its tracklist a set of collaborations that speaks to DXTINY's ability to pull from different corners of the Nigerian music space and build something cohesive around his own sound. Blaqbonez, fresh off his record-breaking run with Asake on 'Chanel', adds his sharp rap presence. Shoday and 255 round out a lineup that gives the EP both range and credibility.
The music sits at the intersection of melodic Afrobeats and street-pop, a space that is currently one of the most competitive in Nigerian music but also one of the most rewarding for artists who can find their own lane within it. On the early evidence of 'Sweet Sins', DXTINY is working on exactly that.
'Sweet Sins' is available now on Spotify, Apple Music and all major streaming platforms.
