Portable and VeryDarkMan Clash Over Alleged Theft in Viral Online Feud

Nigerian street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, and social media personality Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan (VDM), have sparked a heated online controversy that has gripped fans. The trending dispute, which erupted on July 22, 2025, centers on VDM’s allegations of theft against Portable, leading to a fiery exchange of diss tracks and personal jabs.
The feud kicked off when Portable criticized VDM for his ongoing critiques of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, particularly regarding Nigeria’s economic struggles and insecurity.
