Hadurah, the younger brother of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has taken to social media to call out controversial commentator VeryDarkMan, accusing him of using Mohbad’s death to chase clout.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Hadurah declined an interview request from VeryDarkMan and expressed deep disappointment over what he described as an attempt to exploit his brother’s name for online attention.

“If no be my brother’s death, you no go get mouth dey talk to me,” he wrote.

“You use my brother’s death take trend dey yarn dust like say na achievement… clout chaser!”

He went on to say he had “handed VeryDarkMan over to Portable,” making it clear he no longer wants to be associated with him. According to Hadurah, VDM’s involvement in Mohbad’s case feels more like performance than genuine advocacy.

In another post, he accused VeryDarkMan of working for a “paymaster” and warned that justice would eventually reach anyone exploiting his brother’s name.

“The spirit of my brother no go rest until justice reach your doorstep. Judgment no dey forget address.”

Breaking his silence, Hadurah admitted he had been quiet out of respect, but could no longer ignore what was happening around his brother’s memory.

“The time for silence don pass. From now on, go use my brother’s spirit fight all of una wey dey craze for social media wey dey use his death catch clout. No more peace for the fake ones. Make una get ready.”

His words paint a picture of frustration and pain, as the family continues to process their loss and fight for justice on their own terms.
